5 stjerner i VinAvisen: "Farven er tæt, dyb og mørk. Duften er koncentreret og med en kant af kirsebærsten. Og smagen er simpelt hen perfekt - stofrig, med en masse facetter, lakrids, kanel, bløde tanniner og fint integreret fad. En herlig rødvin."

Kun 4800 kasser á 6 fl. i 2015 årgangen til verdensmarkedet.

Blæksort farve, vinen bærer en forrygende intens duft af mørk frugt. 

Denne årgang er blandingen: 77% Shiraz, 11% Mourvédre, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc.

The Luddites
Niels Verburg and his wife Penny are unabashed luddites who apply a technology-resistant philosophy to their methods, ‘farming conscientiously with minimum mechanization’ and aiming to make a wine that’s ‘as natural as possible, with little or no intervention’. ‘It’s about knowing that when you buy a bottle of Luddite, what’s inside is genuine and made with integrity,’ says Niels.

The wine remained in barrels for 24 months after which we blended all the different varietals together to create the best possible wine. The blending process took place over 5 months to make sure that we had the correct balance and percentages with the final blend being 55% Shiraz, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Mourvedre.     Average analysis of fruit at harvest 26° Balling, TA – 6.4 g/l, pH – 3.55   Tasting Notes Appearance: Dark, almost black appearance with purple edges. Nose: Spice driven dark fruit with hints of liquorice, cinnamon, plum, violets and toasty wood. Palate: Brooding dark fruit and spice. Rich, natural, sweet fruit core. Big mouthfeel, lingering             balanced tannins on the finish.   Analysis of the wine Alcohol: 15% pH: 3.51 TA: 6.1 g/l RS: 4 g/l 5760 bottles of this vintage were produced.
